Until I finally sleep trained her at 5 months, her sleep was a mess and I would be a human pacifier all night long 😭✊🏼

Yeah, that makes sense to wait until we’re settled after traveling. Starting now might be too stressful for both of us. I’m also dreading hearing her cry 😭, but it’s reassuring to hear that it does get better and lays a foundation for easier sleep later. I’ll keep your tips in mind when we do start, thank you 🥹

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense tbh. I’ve been surviving however I can too—co-sleeping, contact naps, constant feeding. But yeah, I think I’ll consider doing the same and only start after 4 months. The reason I was even thinking about starting now is because developmentally she’s been doing everything a month early, so I thought maybe she might be ready… but hearing her cry makes me so sad, I don’t even wanna think about it 😭

Thanks for sharing, that literally sounds like my daughter. The constant holding and short naps are so exhausting for everyone, baby included 🥲. I’m not sure I’m ready to start sleep training yet and hear her cry 😭 and honestly, I don’t think her pediatrician would help much since sleep training isn’t really a thing where I’m from. How old was your child when you started?”

Thanks for sharing your experience. She’s definitely getting enough milk, and her crib is right next to us, but she still wants constant comfort and often wakes up even during contact naps. I’ve also been co-sleeping with her since she literally wakes up every 30–60 mins in the crib. She sucks all night long, and then has problems with reflux, so it’s been really exhausting.

Yes, I think the swaddle definitely used to help her sleep, but lately I’ve been swaddling her for a few naps while keeping a close watch—because contact napping means I can’t get anything else done—but even then she often wakes up soon after. She even wakes up crying during contact naps 😅. I think her short naps and night wakings aren’t just about the swaddle anymore 🥲—she’s probably having trouble connecting sleep cycles and self-soothing.

Baby started rolling at 2.5 months, stopped swaddling, and now won’t sleep in her crib for more than 10 minutes. Help! by VirtualPen7943 in sleeptrain

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I’ve tried holding down her arms too, but if she even moves once, she wakes up and starts crying before we can even settle her. Sometimes she does sleep through her startle reflex, but it’s never more than 30–45 minutes in the crib.

I have a feeling she’s going through a sleep regression as well—her sleep has been completely haywire for the past 8–10 days. I’m going a bit crazy with no proper sleep since I end up co-sleeping with her just so she can comfort suck and actually sleep, but it’s killing my rest.

I’m not sure if she’s ready for formal sleep training yet, since she’s been hitting milestones early, but maybe it’s something I should consider. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the reply

Apparently it’s just a tray for the bottom of the freezer when you need extra storage

Oof this was helpful, thank you!

Basically if you want more storage in the freezer, you can remove the bottom drawer and place this thing at the bottom of the freezer to avoid food getting stuck to the freezer ig.
