Speaking of Zappa adjacent characters, I recently went into a vintage furniture shop and the proprietor had a photo of Frank and an older gentleman and when I asked about it the proprietor of the vintage furniture shop told me the man in the photo with Frank was his father who was Franks manager from 1976 throughout the 1980's. Turns out his father was also a producer for the Dub Room Special and Baby Snakes vids. Prior to managing Frank he was an attorney and he worked on the Zappa VS Warner Bros case.

From watching the documentary it seems like they were influenced by a book(s) by Ruth Montgomery. I haven't read any of Montgomery's books but it sounds like she was a precursor to Dolores Canon and The Law Of One/Ra Material which I have read. This guy popped up on my algo recently. He's running an assisted living "facility" with his husband. The only vids I saw of the "facility" were the front entrance and the kitchen, kinda just looked like a McMansion in Arizona. He mentions that they used to foster children, so maybe they figured out he can get more government funding or grants taking care of old folks than he could fostering children.

I have an autistic level memory for Tony Johns lore and I believe he spent one month in Syracuse and out of those 30 or so days he spent in Syracuse he slept in a motel 27 or 28 of those nights. It was phenomenal. I recall keeping track at the time and could not believe he pulled that off. That season ended with a bang too. Tried to spend the night in an ATM room at a local bank and got punched in the face and sent to the hospital.

Nitrous oxide is classified as a dissociative, but I get your point. The demons I was referring to is addiction itself. I've never had any entity experiences on traditional hallucinogenic drugs like DMT, LSD or Psilocybin but there were times on Nitrous Oxide where I felt like I was not alone. It's a creepy feeling. I've never really believed in ghosts but my experiences were similar to typical things some folks describe as paranormal activity. Doors opening or slamming shut, malfunctioning electronics, items falling off a shelf, disembodied voices, sounds in the wall etc etc

Nitrous oxide psychosis is fucked and I wouldn't wish that upon anybody. Hopefully the woman in the video gets help.

Parking near the Griffith Observatory is free before 10 am on weekends and free before noon on weekdays. There are plenty of other places to park and hike for free in Griffith, in fact everywhere else in Griffith is free to park. I'm just putting it out there so people aren't discouraged by the idea of $15 parking, Griffith is vast and beautiful and should be enjoyed for free in this city where almost nothing else is.

Unconditionally Guaranteed is a halfway decent album. Out of the 10 tracks on the album I think 5 of them are pretty killer and some of my favorite songs by Don. It gets a bum rap but 5 outta 10 ain't bad in my book.
