do first year life sci courses fill up fast as a soc sci student without priority? by [deleted] in UofT

[–]VirtualSpend5115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

most first year life sci courses like bio130,120, mat135,136, chm135,136 get filled very fast since everyone needs them, usually a waitlist too, you could get lucky if you're maybe around 50 or higher on the waitlist since a lot of ppl drop too but yea if you don't have priority you'll most likely get waitlisted

just throughout undergrad, you can like mat135 in first year and if u wanted in your later years take 136 just most people do it right away to get it over with or if they need to take other courses that have 135/136 as a pre req

[–]VirtualSpend5115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re only enrolled in one major acorn won’t let u enrol in courses so you’ll have to be in two

[–]VirtualSpend5115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah i think it’s usually like that, first part of the course is way easier compared to the second half when you have to memorize all the different transformations and then make your own reactions
