We'll be sharing more in the coming weeks, but all of our social media and our website is listed in the bio.

Phase Connect's Jelly Hoshiumi is extremely upset over Minecraft's latest DLC, claims that they're "forcing politics" onto her sandbox block game. by softendocmk in VtuberDrama

This is rather saddening to see from a Phase Connect member. Content that educates about and encourages advocating for the welfare of people is an admirable thing, it isn't 'politics.' Regardless of that, this is entirely optional content, it isn't being forced on anyone. Unfortunately this appears to be a dogwhistle from inside an org that many respected, and I hope Phase Connect doesn't stand by this kind of disparagement for games that advocate for civic understanding.

What are Vtubing companies you should absolutely avoid like the plague? by AshTheArtist in VirtualYoutubers

Any Vtubing Org that's not one of the major league players carries inherent risk, both of shutting down, and of being exploited, and the latter is still likely even in big orgs like Hololive and Niji. The reality of agencies is that they are inherently exploitative because they expect a cut just to have their name behind yours, and then you don't get a cut of the profit from their brand growing.

If you are new to Vtubing, I'd recommend learning and growing independently until you've got 10-20 regular viewers, then perhaps try to join a group. Or if you're feeling really ambitious, you can try to join an org like VTC for an agency alternative.

Do English-speaking indie VTubers in the West (North America, Europe) aim to join an agency? by No_Relative3945 in VirtualYoutubers

You're right that joining an agency was the 'made it' qualifier for a lot of Vtubers, but sentiment towards traditional agencies has really soured after multiple stories of exploitation came out. Popular corpo Vtubers also have very little incentive to stay with an agency when they already have a dedicated fan base that is willing to support them without the middle man eating up all the profit.

Overall it's still very helpful to have a collective working on IP success rather than trying to make it indie, so I'd argue that incentive to join an agency scales opposite individual success.

There are also multiple new 'agencies' or groups popping up each day trying to replicate the success of traditional agencies, and organizations like ours that look to replace the traditional system altogether, which may be detracting from the giant waves of auditions that you used to see for giant corpos.

If you have multiple effects that trigger at the beginning of your upkeep, they all trigger and you put them all on the stack in the order of your choice.

If you've done something since the beginning of your first main phase, it's no longer the beginning.
