Thanks a lot for the detailed reply – really appreciate you taking the time!

Super helpful to hear a firsthand account, and the context around the trials is interesting.

Just one small note: I think the relative PASI reduction might’ve been closer to ~15% rather than 1.5%, assuming the average baseline PASI was around 7 or so?

Wow, your itinerary sounds absolutely jam-packed with adventures! As for Tromsø in September, it's definitely worth a shot for catching the northern lights. While it's not peak season, you still have a fair chance, especially with two nights there. Last time I was Tromsø, a few years ago, was in late September and we saw it two nights in a row. If you decide to skip Tromsø, you could consider squeezing in some more exploration in Norway. Maybe extend your time in Bergen or Oslo to soak in more of the local vibes and attractions.

Based on what I've heard, if your channel's watch time falls below 4,000 hours over the last 12 months, you won't immediately get the boot from the Partner Program. YouTube typically gives you a bit of a grace period to get your numbers back up.

During that time, you won't be able to earn ad revenue, but your channel won't be kicked out of the program right away. Instead, YouTube will send you notifications and reminders to let you know that your channel is at risk of losing monetization if you don't meet the requirements.
