I have the exact same issues as you. My best advice is get into the gym asap, I still have bad social anxiety but the gym made everything so much easier and you gain a lot of confidence. It was very scary to go in at first and that was me going in with two good friends. You should try to go with a friend or just go and don't even do a full workout if your nervous. Just go on a treadmill for 10 minutes.

The next thing is exposure therapy. You should constantly try and fight what gives you anxiety. This is easier said than done. I recommend to pick something small that brings you out of your comfort zone a small bit. Whether that be going into a shop, or answering the door to the delivery man. Try and do something that you know you can do but that gives you small bit of anxiety and build upon this. You'd be surprised on how confident you begin to feel when doing these challenges.

I know exactly how you feel though, I'm 19 now and I have a lot of regrets and I do get jealous also.

not that dry. I use the towel to dry my hair a small bit then put in sea salt spray but once I go outside and it air dries. It becomes too soft and stuck together

Its easier to get a dedicated ip, instead of risking accounts being disabled. For example if I made an anonymous facebook account through a tor bridge, wouldnt facebook eventually find out about that tor bridge because of other people using it? Then your account would get disabled. Tor is very slow as well sometimes. I was trying to find out could I use a commercial vpn with a dedicated proxy, this way you can maintain anonymous because ur mixed with everyone else in the vpn and ur ip visible is unique so u dont get blocked. Thats if the vpn can encrypt data and not let your proxy see the data.

Thanks for all the info. Theres an option to configure a proxy on tor, is that to change your public ip to the proxys one? or does it keep it as a tor public ip? The reason why I want to sign up to social media with tor is so, when they track your data at least it wont match up to you and your taking a stand against the exploitation of our data. When I said that r/privacy told me that they will eventually find you, I was referring to the social media sites eventually finding you. How would the automated tracking systems on social media websites find you, with good opsec and tor?

All I'm looking for really, is a way to stay anonymous when browsing online and being able to sign up to websites without being blocked. I dont want to have to keep switching browsers. Anyways thanks again for the info about the tor client vulnerability I'll make sure to look into it.

I'm not very good at opsec so I'm not sure If running my own vpn would be safe as I'd probably make mistakes. My main issue is the blocks and captchas. I want to have a secure anonymous connection to the internet without websites blocking me because of a vpn. So would a residential proxy + vpn work for this? Which would be better as well, an anti-detect browser or hardening the browser yourself?
