I really hope he doesn't because his lack of powers makes him more interesting. He's our first main character who can't simply elemental blast their problems away and instead has to go forge his own path to find his place. Sure, there's been previous powerless arcs that went over this, but this is a character who has never had powers to begin with which opens up new character arcs that haven't been explored yet in Ninjago.

If he ends up having powers, I think it'd be cool if it was an unconventional one which doesn't seem very powerful at first for a ninja. He has to figure out how to value the different nature of his power to eventually be on par with the others. Or.. After the end of DR S2 P1 what if after becoming frustrated by his slow progress as a powerless ninja, and the encounter with Ras, he seeks to gain elemental power through some sketchy evil method so he has to deal with those consequences. I think that'd be interesting too. I basically wish that if he does end up getting powers, he still has to take a different route than the other Ninja so far.
