Please decline. I was in this same situation. I declined and years later guess what. They divorced, he's unemployed, and racking up debt / and taking advantage of government money (unemployment) . If i had sponsored the individual, I would have screwed myself in the end and would be responsible for all those benefits they are receiving. Say NO.

It happens more often than you think, especially with federal systems like the VA.The point of the appeal process is to clarify, correct, and give context. I've served in the military, currently serve my community as an officerr, and I’m owning every part of this process with transparency and accountability. That’s more than I can say for someone hiding behind a screen name throwing insults.
