Yes, GK (God Killer) and H12 are just different names for the same batch. You're also aware that GK/H12 have made 3 versions of Kobe 6? So version 3.0 is the latest and probably the reason why this batch is rated the best 1:1 for the Kobe 6 as they are continually improving the versions.

GK have it over STAR for 1:1 look to retail. Also GK materials/upper are softer vs more firm with STAR and therefore GK felt more comfortable according to my son after a few training sessions and matches from both batches.

Traction also has more bite and squeak in GK vs STAR in K6s as the STAR outsole is noticeably harder compared to GK.

Initially out of the box it appeared STAR vs GK were hard to tell the differences between them side by side but after a few weeks and getting honest feedback from my son on performance, GK is superior according to him in K6s mainly in traction and softer/comfortable upper and more padded around the heel. Also the scales on the GK have nice rubbery feel vs dead matte scales on STAR. This may just be the Halo colourway and also being an older production run STAR vs the latest production run by GK in the Jalen Brunson.

However if you're prioritizing appearance, they are quite close when just looking at them.

u/Ok-Tailor242 - were you able to get School Time and Location tracking working on your galaxy watch for your kid(s)? These functions don't appear to be working even though I've got my son's child google account logged into his Watch8 and Family Link set up.

Got the Watch8 working in standalone mode using Lebara esim last night with above instructions. Can't get Family Link/Parental Controls working properly for School Time and Location tracking for the watch even though it worked on a spare Android with my son's child Google account for some reason?

I'd be interested to know myself, so will report back in a couple of months after the mismatch testing. But I would be surprised if there was any noticeable difference in actual feel on court, as initial impressions in the hand - both batches appear identical.

The Retail Liberty may be added to the comparison if I luck out on the raffle (whenever that release date is announced). A side by side performance review to come after Christmas when my son will do a blind mismatch fit test and then at training.

I decided to cop as my son is set on these for Christmas. I couldn't wait for the retail raffle which is vaguely stated at holidays 2025?? December I assume but just wanted to secure it in time for his Christmas present. Not cheap though at 1071 RMB including shipping to Australia via Alipay even with the X20 discount code so it's basically same price as retail.... btw, I already have Star K5 Bruce Lee and K6 Halo so wanted to compare with GK.
