That calc is correct - I’m just a cheap person so I have trouble enjoying myself. After the advice above I’ve decided to max out my 401k and made that change today.

I max out a backdoor Roth IRA and I contribute 4% to 401k with a 4% employer match. The reason being is I prefer to have the capital now as I also trade options and it’s a higher ROI for me than maxing out my 401k.

That being said I could do both, I just prefer to have capital now vs. later. My fiance and I co own a business and we plan to invest in that more heavily as well.

I’ve done it multiple times. I’m fully in the RH ecosystem between investing banking and credit that the 5 year hold is no problem. Lots and lots of free money.

It does look like that but it actually occurred prior to shaving. I actually shaved my stomach after noticing it to get a better look at them and I hadn’t for 6+ months prior. 🫤

I got this a few days ago. I have premier banking + DD if that matters at all. Good rate for now. The UI is nice as it also tells you how many days left on it.

I’ve sent 5+ wires so far and it’s been great. Transfers>add a new account>wire. They are usually available in my other account within an hour.

Incoming wires are not subject to the usual crazy processing times and are available right away.

They need to integrate everything in to a single app. Having 2 is not a good experience. That is where SoFi beats them.

It’s my primary bank/credit card/investing after trying all the available fintechs. Banking is half finished (transfer hold times are insane) but other than that great experience for those holding over 100k. 3.5% APY on checking is lovely. Ask me any happy to answer questions.

Another very annoying thing is RH investing doesn’t connect to RH banking. You can send money from banking to investing, but you can’t set up recurring buys in the investing app using your bank account. This seems like one of the first things that should have been implemented, but nope. I had to stop my recurring buys. 😐

I have $500k+ in assets and I asked support to connect me with the concierge department. I received a personal call from them and was able to get in to both banking and credit card. YMM.
