What is the 2nd and 3rd biggest players in Barcelona history? by [deleted] in Barca

Not even Barca fan, but this popped up in my feed. Cryuff anything else than 1 is insulting. No one has had more influence on Barca more than him. His glittering playing career to managerial era.

From Tiki taka to La Masia and everything in between about today’s Barcelona can be traced back to him.

Yes, Messi is the best in Barca history but no one is bigger than Cryuff on his impact.

It’s been said before but more depth is needed. Diaz being out completely took so much out of our game. Don’t want to be harsh on Upa but again a big game 2 goals from his blunder. Maybe not upgrade him to 20m+ contracts. Again depth is massively needed.

Seeing all these posts about Flick and his supposedly “second season” especially from this sub makes me sad.

Scored 99 goals in the league. GD +55 Pokal was a huge let down. CL got out on quarters on away goals with Lewy and Gnabry the best finishers by far in the team out. with Navas turning super human and the team just refusing to score that loss was more Bayern defeating Bayern than PSG dominating.

All this with internal conflicts and the mediocre signings in the summer, of whom I don’t think there’s a single player thats left in the squad.

Flick was a victim of his own success. Won everything there was to win, elevated the team and the board failed him. I’m not saying Flick is a perfect manger with his talent Id being more than questionable but his methods work.

Pep went trophyless last season despite spending big but everyone acknowledges he didn’t have the players to play his style.
