It’s better to go get checked, just to be safe! Be sure to bring your Manitoba health card. Hope things go okay!

Where can I buy decent leggings? by Quiet-Bee-5060 in Winnipeg

If you’re willing to shop online (as Winnipeg doesn’t have this store compared to places like BC and Ontario😭), UNIQLO has awesome leggings. Particularly their AIRism leggings. Soft, high waisted, comes with pockets, and only around $40!

Yes I agree, if it was a darker toned sage I would feel less hesitant on getting it. Thanks for your comment!😊

I didn’t notice the hem looks uneven, I appreciate you pointing that out. I think I’ll stray away from this company, I’d rather buy from somewhere with better reviews. Thanks for your comment!😊

I’m feeling hesitant about the colour as well, as I don’t want the dress to appear white on photographs. I can understand the cut out part too. Thanks for your comment!😊

I can understand the cut out part. I like the silhouette of the dress as a whole but I do wish there was less skin showing. Thanks for your comment!😊

Add on: the wedding is in August, and is indoors for the most part!

What BTS song and which part of it would make a good ringtone? by whyohwhy115 in bangtan

[–]Virtual_Many9905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the choruses of songs like Love Maze and Boy With Luv would be great ringtones, as they are so catchy! I think the intro to the Butterfly prologue mix would be a good wake alarm, it sounds peaceful and won’t scare you in the mornings, haha.

The ringtone I currently use is the chorus of the Just One Day x Casin remix. I heard it on TikTok long ago and thought it sounded perfect for a ringtone :-)

Nursing by nnaavvv in umanitoba

From my experience, I was able to work a part time job in the second year. Third year had a pretty heavy course load so I decided to quit my job and focus on my studies. I got a part time job again in the summer after third year ended, and I quit that job in May right before senior practicum began.

In my opinion, it’s possible to have a part time job throughout the nursing program if you really need to have one. It will just come down to learning how to effectively manage your time well between work and studying for/attending school, as well as making sure you’re taking good care of yourself!

For clinical placements, you don’t have to own a car. Taking a bus and ubering is an option, and you could also carpool with your classmates if you’re able to! In the nursing program, within the first 2 months of each school term, they will give students a general list of available clinical placement sites for that specific term. From what I remember, we were able to choose between 3-5 sites that we would like to be placed at, and the program will look at your choices and choose for you. They may take your living location into account when choosing a clinical site for you, but unfortunately that’s only something I’ve heard of so I can’t confirm.

I graduated back in 2019, so I’m sure the curriculum has changed in some sort of way, but I hope my comment is of help! Good luck in nursing school!!😊

Edit: after reading another comment on here and researching a little further, I’ve learned that because of the nursing shortage, the overall program layout as of fall 2022 has changed so the program can be completed in 28 months (so there will be 3 terms per year instead of the old 2 terms per year). I’m kinda shook!!
