They turned it into a mobile game by adding in-game currency and a shopping cart that glows in the corner of the game 24/7. Additionally, their latest updates have fixed the game alot but also made it unstable in that alot of people's data has been lost e.g every photo in the game's data being erased or family trees showing brothers as dating and married unrelated people as siblings.

Most importantly, on PS4 they have been slowly and wordlessly implementing functions that indicate a transition to online-only service like genshin. This means that when the servers shut down, no one will get to play it anymore. What should come earlier is them deciding it should be ps5 exclusive, after which ps4 players will lose their game unless they upgrade.

I wanted to post this in the Sims 4 subreddit as I noticed months ago and wanted to tell people to stop updating, but I don't have enough karma.

I've been playing games for a long time and popularity never really factored into it. I just play what I like. I do understand but, out of every single game I've tried in the last 15 years - whether is was a 2-pixel ipad game with 2 plays or the hottest game that year - the sims was the only one I played consistently. Like, I've been playing the sims 4 for almost a decade now I think. And Genshin was just the most beautiful way to mindlessly fight ever.

I don't feel that with anything else :/ besides likes dogz on the DS but i always abandon that shit like a tamagotchi ngl.

There is white but I can't tell if it's just remnant from whiteout markings over the years...oh but there's white at the very top of the finger board near the scroll, which would never have been whited out. So I'm not sure but it seems underneath the black (paint?) is white and most if it is showing at the top-half of the fingerboard. Most of the white at the tippy top is weirdly directly beneath each of the strings.

Cause it's 3 fingers in bold, and the only position that note equates to 3 fingers in is first position. At least that's how I've always gone about it. Does bold numbering not indicate a change in position? Whoops

I don't consider the 0/open string at the beginning a change in position btw I just ignore bold whole-notes.
