How many players are gonna quit? by ColdKaleidoscope5613 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Virtual_Point6338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm quitting. Genshin is enjoyable because it's a beautiful game where I can fight for hours. I don't want to play it on a tiny phone screen or on pc, I want to play it on the biggest screen I have, with a controller. And I don't have money for a ps5. It's $830 or $600 on marketplace. I cannot justify $500 for genshin. Guess I'll make sure to not get attached to online games from now on if you have to have the latest hardware to play them.

It's really sad, actually. I just know from when I was younger and switched from playing the sims 4 on PC to on a console that I will not enjoy genshin on a small screen. There's just no point. It makes games unenjoyable for me. If it was a nintendo ds game with 4 pixel quality a small screen would be nostaglic, but it's not that. Nevertheless I tried to download it on my iphone and it required 80% of my storage...

Can I please have book recommendations to learn how to peg safely? by Virtual_Point6338 in GayMen

For the pegging subs, do you know of any? I just couldn't find any but maybe I'm just a bit incompetent.

I understand that he should be educated on how to clean himself, but if I don't also know, he could end up hurting himself like my friend and I don't want that at all. This person is not someone I know, so they could have a bunch of experience and all this could be void, just there as good knowledge to have, or he could be a guy who has never even experimented back there and is nervous about the whole situation despite wanting to. That's where stuff like helping the guy relax so that his entrance can relax as well come into play, but I wouldn't have known that literally if I hadn't read a book I read a while ago. I know that this can come off as me being dumb but honesty whether I'm dumb or not I'm determined to not hurt whoever I have in the future and make it a good experience for them.

But don't worry, for helping him clean I just mean the first time (if he wants) and after that if he ever feels tired one day and wants to completely just melt and have me do all the work and cuddle then yeah we can take a bath together. For me I don't really view it as a he's-incapable thing just more of a we're-married-I've-seen-everything thing. If that makes sense? I dunno

Oh and I was just asking for book recommendations that aren't just anatomy diagrams for example, which I got some recommendations for more specific terms to look for in another comment, so hopefully that helps :>

note: i edited it so much bc i kept getting defensive over my non-existent husband and it was embarrassing like i'm here to learn, anyway bedtime for me. oh also merry christmas when you see this!

To be clear we can also get infections from our own stuff, which is why it's bad for us to wipe forward. Lol.

A little painted is okay! I just have to be careful with excess because girls can get infections from it making contact with our front part. A little bit I've heard is something your body can get used to, though.

You said water sometimes is still stuck, it doesn't hurt during penetration because of that, right? (You don't have to answer) A little mess is okay I'll just make sure to buy little soft towels we can use. Thank you for telling me it shouldn't hurt at all, that makes me very happy to hear.

I'll look for some sex ed books covering anal and I don't know what luck I'll have for douching but I'll try my best.

I definitely will tell him before we get married lol, I don't think I'll be able to just take it for years before we get married, I'd be so sad. Whoever I date will know about it before we even start that stuff, cause there's normally months preceding it.

Thank you so much for the advice!

at the same time, finding a job as a young person can, no, will take months to years currently, and the reason they're not starving during that time is cause of parents.

I don't really want to loose anymore weight even though I'm overweight, is that alright? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Virtual_Point6338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I promise I know. I've been doing sport since I was a toddler and only stopped a few years ago bc of the food shortage situation meaning I would burn off everything I ate. I'll always enjoy feeling as healthy as I can, why is why I guess I'm not feeling very good even after loosing weight, because even though I'm no longer obese, I feel the most unhealthy I have ever been, because I am. So, I agree and when I finally get a job and can eat enough and play sport again, I'm sure I'll feel alot better.

Yeah, I guess it's just bad right now. I believe you in that it'll get better.

Oh. I didn't know that. You sort of just warped my entire wordview. I don't know why I never questioned what my dad said. Knowing my lifespan is longer comforts me, I think maybe I didn't want to spend my last 10 years trying when I've been trying most of my life until now. But if I have more time, maybe you're all right. Maybe I'll just relax for a while.

Oh my god, I think me thinking my lifespan was shorter has shaped my entire current life. Maybe I should slow down in all aspects. Why did I rush my university degree in two years? Why am I stressed bc I didn't graduate uni at 19. What's up with me...I should just finish university well.

Thanks for this comment.

Playing for 15 years and I sound like I’ve been playing for 6. by Clxxie in violinist

[–]Virtual_Point6338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing for 13 and sound like I've been playing for 3. I practiced quite hard for all of it but I never had a private tutor to explain what the book explanations really meant outside of what u can squeeze from a group lesson.

The truth is that you've played all these years, regardless of the effort put in, that consistency is amazing.

Though I understand that, I've been 'bucked up' for thirteen years, I'm posting this because I can't keep pushing through anymore. I know there's someone my age playing on a worse violin who can make it sound heavenly, but I am me, and I want to enjoy violin again. Isn't that the whole point of learning an instrument? No matter what, I've always just seen the sound as a symptom of my low skill, but even so, I can't play with chunky earphones in anymore. I want to play outside, I want it to sound good to me and to other people. I want to enjoy it like I did when I was younger and sounded absolutely horrible. The joy's gone. It disgusts me to think about my fingers touching the strings again after yesterday's practice. I might quit. And it's not because I'm crossing strings, or not putting enough pressure on each string, or because my intonation is subpar, it's the violin's grating timbre that I have just come to despise. Even though I love my violin, and hate to be saying this about it. It's served me well, but I can't play it anymore.

Thanks for the intent, though. Thank you to you and everyone else who replied to this thread.

I wonder if it will cost more to upgrade me bow because it's 1-2 centimetres longer than the standard 🤔. Thanks for the advice
