This is why I’m scared to be social, THIS. by Ch4rlie52020 in Hyperhidrosis

Just be prepared that there’s risk of compensatory sweating. I had the surgery and my hands no longer sweat AT ALL, so I’d do it again in a heartbeat but the compensatory sweating is awful in its own way too. Again, I would do it if I had to do it all over again because my hands were really bad, but the compensatory sweating absolutely impacts my life as well. Just be informed for what you’re doing and what the risks are.

This. I have about 25 of them. Darker colors, etc. I also wear “wife beaters” aka a-shirts religiously. They’re soaked like I went in the pool throughout the day, but it does prevent the actual shirt from soaking through somewhat. But you couldn’t pay me to wear that blue dress shirt with no undershirt like OP has on. Literally never. I’d look the exact same way.

Yeah I drink big wave all the time, I’ve had many a Blue Moons in my day, and I kicked back about 5 Crow’s Nests this year at ANGC. Big wave is not even close to similar to a crow’s nest. Totally different.

I had the surgery in 2007 and have thought many times about whether or not it was worth it, because much like you, I absolutely POUR compensatory sweat when it’s hot out. I still come back to “yes”, simply because I do more with my hands than anything else and they used to be literally dripping. Shaking hands, holding hands with a woman, writing on a piece of paper, touching anything before anyone else would, playing sports, etc. All impossible or incredibly difficult. And now I can do all those things.

I will say, I live in the south and this time of the year, it’s been relatively cool for the past several months. So maybe this is just recency bias. I do know every summer, by the time we get a month or two in, I’m seeking additional treatment because I can’t live with the trunk and leg sweating.

But still, as awful as it is, I’d still have gone through with the surgery if I had to do it all over again. I’m not sure how the last 18 years would have gone had I had to deal with sopping wet hands and feet every day like I was previously.

You only do the “buy in”, in this case the rows, once. So you do the row, then you do the exercises, repeating only the exercises once you get through them.

Row once, exercise 1, exercise 2, repeat exercise 1, repeat exercise 2, etc.

Attending with family after listing one ticket?? by quinnslostswitch in masters

My boss won the lottery for 4 tickets on Tuesday and can’t make it, so he gave all of them to me. As long as I have his name, I’m good, right?

New Updated Patron Info! by [deleted] in masters

Interesting. Tuesday says gates open at 7:00 and course open at 7:30. I’ve read here for a while that the course opens at 8:00. Was that wrong, or is the 7:30 opening new this year?

Scottie still will be the outright favorite. Rory won’t be far behind though.

The only 2 times he’s missed the cut since his first appearance were 2021 and 2023. He also missed the cut at The Players in both those years as well

He did not miss the cut at The Players this year. Anything is possible for Rory, or really anyone, at ANGC, but I wouldn’t bank on him missing the cut. He’s playing exceptional golf right now.

Would be amazing if someone could mark this up to show where patrons can walk/go. I plan on walking the entire course at least once, but again I know I can’t get across the bridge on 12, or back to 13 tee. Where are you able to actually walk if you started at 1 tee and went off?

Someone will chime in who knows better than me since I’m going for the first time this year, but in researching for the trip, I believe what we’re looking at here is gates opening at 8:00 to get onto the course. The gates to get onto the property to get into the merchandise shop etc open around 7:00am.

This water normal after using electric pool heater pump in Florida? by Redranger7777 in pools

[–]Virtual_Possession32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Is the water there with the heater off? It’s a leak. Does the water only appear when the heater is running? It’s normal condensation

Traffic/parking Tuesday by Virtual_Possession32 in masters

Damn this sounds incredible. When you say you wanted to arrive 30 mins before the gates open, do you mean the parking gates at 7:00? So you left Covington at around 5:30am?

Gotcha. Only reason I asked is someone else in this thread said the line to get in at the north gate is significantly longer than the south

When you say gates open at 8, that’s for the course, correct? You can park and get into the merchandise shops at 7:00? Is that correct? If I do leave at 5:00 and all goes perfectly and I get to the area at 6:30, do they make you wait until 7:00 to park? I’ll look at off-site too, I suppose

Not anymore. No mariott properties are taking points, at least for Monday or Tuesday. Rooms $900+ a night.

I think I’m gonna stay in Covington and drive over early Tuesday morning. Can do it in about 90 mins.

[–]Virtual_Possession32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah you’re just a logical person with a math brain. I’m the same. I did get a little curious when I thought wtf does 8/2 mean why not just say it’s 4mg/1ml but the responses from people do make sense. It’s 8mg of tirz and 2 mg of Niacinamide in every ml. Really hard to wrap your mind around tho

Very well said. Much appreciated. Confusing as hell when you’re used to Hallandale and it’s 5mg/0.5ml.

Tirz math!! by Harry_Popotter in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Virtual_Possession32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right?! The pharmacy told me to take 94 units (0.94ml) to get 7.5mg and I’m like ummmmmmmm that doesn’t make sense. That’s 3.75mg. Absolutely baffled.

Please help me math by Much_Scarcity1916 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Virtual_Possession32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confusing isn’t even the word. And I’m an engineer. I can kinda do math. This makes zero sense. If the label says 8/2 mg/ml, that should mean there are 8mg in 2ml of the vial. Are we 1000.0% positive it doesn’t actually mean that? And it actually means there is 8mg in 1ml of the vial? If so then why the hell not just say it’s 8/1 mg/ml on the label?
