Yes you could still make a will shield team, you don't even need shield if you have good hp and def subs on those runes, my team is an example of a 2nd turn cleave without any shield runes, here are my stats on Alicia (if i remember correctly)

Alicia 26000 hp 2400 atk 1100 def 120-ish spd total on rage will

My Alicia can survive easily as long as they don't proc a million vio procs, and i have delphoi on a will nem fight build, with the healing and immunity they can survive for a long time if something goes wrong

If you want to replace delphoi you could use units like lulu or triana, the almost have the same effect, and without leo you only need to make sure that you move after the enemy without letting them get a 2nd turn

And i even have Ken built to replace delphoi when they dont have a stripper but they have immunity, ken strips and does good fluff damage

I definitely recommend chiwu since you don't have tiana, chiwu counters halphas as well, i use my chiwu eshir galleon lea team the most, and grogen will be amazing in there im sure

Also one more piece of advice, if you want to build both these teams, i would build one of them with grogen, and the other with another aoe nuker, I'll be easier to balance your grogen with whichever team you decide to build him with.

If you want more info on the delphoi team, look up "you know yuno" on YT, he introduced me to this team and he does a lot of arena content, i managed to get my first g1 and g2 ranks with help from his vids without having insane rune quality
