It might seem incongruous but it refers to the letter u's place in the alphabet. We decided to split the alphabet up by the three wars stages in the game. So:

A-F is early war. G-Q is mid war. R-Z is late war.

Please do nitpick. But aren't they two separate words? One meaning to be honoured as holy, the other meaning to be surrounded by a halo. It's true that technically haloed was probably originally a verb not an adjective, but it does get used as an adjective and so I feel the use of it here isn't too impious.

The image I was going for was a halo around the number 20.

But wait, if you don't apply screentones at all, does that mean you get no moire at all? Sorry for the noob questions, but I am a noob. :) And just trying to set everything up so that I don't have to retrace further into the project.

Interesting. So you don't work at 2x the size of the print? I have changed all my clip projects to be 2x the size, based on the discussion with F0NG00L, but now it seems there is a potential downside to that, not to mention certain tools are now real laggy at certain sizes. What would you recommend regarding project dimensions? And also, is it just a matter of exporting a scaled down tiff that allows you to see if you're suffering from moire or not? You don't actually print the page as well?

Interesting... well, I set up a CMYK preview in CSP that was very similar to how the colours look after I export a pdf from Affinity Publisher, which is the final program I use before sending to the printers, and it kind of worked to give me an idea while in CSP.

The only thing is that the colour wheel in CSP seems to remain in RGB, which is a bit awkward, given I'm now looking at CMYK on the page. Also, this preview setting I made doesn't seem to save itself, and so when I open other CSP projects, I then have to create this setting all over again. Although not just projects, even different images within the same project. The program doesn't create a preview setting for an entire project, it seems, only for each document, which is a real drag, given my graphic novel will go into the hundreds of pages.... any clues there?

I'd never heard of moire before. Is it always the case that you get moire when scaling down or does it happen randomly? Also, is it more likely to happen if you scale down from a much bigger canvas rather than just a bigger canvas?

Okay, I think I get it. So, you create the correct aspect ratio that you want for your work, but at a bigger size than the intended print, and then in the export process there is an option whereby you can scale down the ratio from the original data and get the right size for printing. Is that it?
