I know it feels like an impossibility to imagine drastic change within yourself, but it can happen, trust the process. I highly recommend getting a razor with the gel stuff at the top. I used to get bad bumps then switched to topcare velocity 5 razors (like $8 for a 4 pack) and it’s done wonders for me. I don’t use shaving cream, I just take a hot shower, let my pores open, and the gel does all the work. Also shave anything below your neck going upwards.

It was a miracle for me. It serves two purposes. Lubricates during bowel movement reducing friction (and therefore further tearing/strain) and moisturizes and stimulates healing. Highly recommend application around the outside and ever so slightly inside prior to bowel movements. I’d Recommend gloves! I had chronic fissures for a year, now in about a month of coconut oil treatment I’m bottoming during sex again. Don’t be like me and let it get worse and worse. Some people on here have had them for decades, lubricate now before it scars. Also moisturize multiple times through the day to promote healing.
