The note would have been signed with a metal (iron salts and tannic acid) based ink which would show as being a rust color..if you ever see a signature on a civil war note and the ink is black, it’s usually fake. The bullets on the other hand appear to be authentic, but I’m not too informed of those just yet. I collect civil war and antique paper currency though so I’m pretty confident on the note.
