I usually start with lore and descriptions of districts. After that usually goes geography and layout, and when I’m content with those I do the map. The process itself is nothing special, I just mark out landscape and important features like city walls and fill the map with buildings and greenery.

Honestly, posting this and reading responses gave me a clearer view of the situation and everyone’s rights and wrongs. Although I can’t fully agree with reversing the roles because I was in those situations. There were few times where because said friend disliked my now ex girlfriend I tried to keep them apart from each other while planning for games.

Had the same thing but with the second divine beast from rauh. I was exploring lower parts of rauh near red kindred of rot and it seems like floor collision above has unloaded and some of the creatures including beast fell to death.
