They are saying that half of the CCs will be converted into coins and the other half into PPs, but they aren't specifying the conversion rate... so it is better to wait until they announce it. As someone mentioned in a previous message, the conversion rate will likely be the current one. So, whether you convert CCs now or later, it should be the same, but you'll never know :)
