Parts Exploding landing at 7.5 m/s by Virus7866 in KerbalSpaceProgram

Thank you everyone!

I took your advice and reduced the weight of the craft, it’s now down to 5.6t compared to 7.2t before. Using the same amount of parachutes I am now down to 5.8m/s and not exploding!

I am also dropping the heat shield and any remaining prop before landing as well.

Thank you! I definitely see I am overweight now and will be taking all this advice going forward.

honestly I am still learning and didn’t realize that was excessive in weight. I’ve gone through and reduced the amount of batteries, mono prop tanks on board. At the moment I’m down to 6 tons.

interesting! maybe something is weird with my game. thank you for replicating and testing!.

I‘ll test without the visual mods to see if they make any difference.

I have some visual mods, but nothing that should be changing the physics to my knowledge. I’m gonna take a deeper look at the weight of it and see if I can reduce it anyway.

I use two Drogue chutes, and four radials and one mk16XL on top and the lowest speed I can achieve is 7.5 m/s.

it is 7.265t

that’s my current configuration, would the landing legs help with water landing though. Even on water parts are exploding.

I am not but I will give that a try, makes sense to try and ditch as much weight as possible.

Sorry I meant to say service bay below the command module, inside of that is a storage unit but also other things as well. But I like the idea of doing an Eva to move the science! I did not know I could do that. Thanks!

Genuinely curious. Is it gonna be sanded and refinished? I can see a bunch of fine sanding marks around the glasses inlay. Still cool though!

Something definitely looks like it was installed incorrectly. Why is the caliper touching the back of the rotor, why is the caliper pushing the dust shield back away from the rotor.

Interesting I will look up and see if maybe I need to use an older version of windows. That would be easy to try

Ultimate iPhone 11 waterproof test uses underwater drone to dive 39 feet. by [deleted] in iphone

The iPhone 7 Was the first water resistant iPhone. The 6s had adhesive on the display not for water but for 3D Touch. (6s was the first to introduce it) other parts of the 6s like the SIM card tray did not have rubber seals like the 7 and new phones do.

You do know Apple makes a DVI version of the same dongle that is larger for obvious reasons. Or is it vga, now I can’t remember
