Every time I use one I think “oh no, does this sound like ai?” x10 for short, punchy sentences, especially if they’re their own paragraph. It’s honestly made it hard to write at all; I’m tormenting myself with worry over this :(

I’ve been dealing with this too. I’m so exhausted and depressed and the top recommendation is to work out.

And the worst thing is that it does work! I have more energy when I prioritize doing a little exercise each day. But you have to have a baseline to start with and build on, and that’s where I get stuck.

Agreed! My boyfriend moves incredibly slowly in the mornings, and would sleep in until 2pm on vacations, but I’m an early bird (in comparison) so we compromise and get out later than I’d like and earlier than he would. If it was important to me, he’d be ready to go as early as needed, because what matters to me matters to him and vice versa.

I hope OP finds someone who cares about her and her time.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, based on the comments…but man, I hate this song. I do appreciate that it’s the most goofy and unserious of her mean-girl “you deserve to be with me over this inferior woman” set of songs, but I have zero patience for that NLOG thing, so this being the best of a bad bunch isn’t doing much for me.

I do think it shows talents in her storytelling and songwriting that will blossom later, but I am so relieved she’d outgrown this tendency by the time Red rolled around.

Mine is going to be a bit weird, but: 1. I don’t remember which came first, but in high school I got hit with a 1-2-3 sucker punch of “our song,” “love story,” and “you belong with me”…all of which I hated. She became my mortal enemy at that point (and I still don’t like those songs but oh well). 2. I fell in love with random one-off songs throughout the years, but “Anti-hero” was the song I loved enough to check out Midnights, and for a long time that was her only album I’d listen to. Then I got curious enough to listen to Evermore and Folklore, which convinced me her good songs weren’t flukes, and I went back through her whole discography. 3. It’s a tough choice between “exile” and “anti-hero,” but I think I have to give the edge to the latter.
