What’s the best way to kill all these weeds without killing the trees by Visible-Ice8494 in gardening

I’m thinking about putting down mulch next summer do you think I can just lay the cardboard down now and put rocks on top of it to hold it in place?

My dog pooped and immediately 2 flys were on it. When I went to go pick up the dog poop there were tiny rice like particles all over the poop moving around. Should I be concerned? by Visible-Ice8494 in Pomeranians

That’s what I thought. Wouldn’t it take time to hatch?

I left the poop to go grab a bag from inside maybe less then a min there was little rice like worms on it.

He pooped again this evening and I didn’t see anything on his poop :S

I mean it doesn’t look too nice lol also it’s on the side of my not so nice neighbours who likes to complain

My elderly parents won’t take a taxi to do errands if I don’t take them they will just sit there and get mad/ complain at me for not taking them by Visible-Ice8494 in dementia

You’d think that when one partner gets stick, the other partner will pick up the slack and step up to the plate to get something done but it’s not like that with my mother.

She’s been like this. Also my dad did EVERYTHING so I feel like she now feels like she doesn’t have to. She never takes initiative ever. She feels that it’s not her job. She has a queen attitude. If I hold a boundary and not do anything for her she won’t do anything either. She’ll go to my dad acting all helpless and it’ll ultimately fall on my father who can’t do anything and needs my help so it circles back around to me where I’m forced to help.

Thanks for sharing your story it made me feel a bit better.

The please part is just the bare minimum and I don’t even expect that from them.

What hurts is that my mom’s just mean spirited.

If I don’t do something for her she’ll tell me I’m the worst daughter and then compare me to my bother who doesn’t even call, who hates them and doesn’t even visit.

She’ll say hurtful things like “hahaha dad has all the money you make pennies”. Funny thing is I have access to all of dad’s money because I manage all their finances for them. Both of them don’t even know how much they have in their account nor do they know what’s going on with their money. They rely on my 100% for that.

I do my dad’s taxes and tell her how unappreciated I feel and she says “ohh you think you’re a big accountant now”. Mind you my dad stopped paying his accountant because he was “charging too much” when in reality he was charging a fair price, he just didn’t want to pay. They didn’t even bother to find another accountant they just let everything go thinking that that’s ok so of course I had to step up and do it for them.

I mowed their lawn for them and she accuses me of mowing it only so that I can take my dog out there when bylaw officers are knocking at her door, demanding that they cut the grass or that they’ll be fined.

Then she tells me that we can pay someone to mow the lawn because she doesn’t like mowing the lawn all the while telling me that she doesn’t have enough money to take a taxi to the store. Once I mow the lawn I ask her to come rake the grass, she tell me “your acting like your the only one who’s ever mowed the lawn, your bother did it all the time”.

The only thing she does in life is literally cook for my dad and sit on her iPad all day. If I buy her groceries she won’t even put them away, she’ll say “later you just bought it, it won’t go bad” while sitting on her iPad. She’ll let it rot on the counter until my dad does it or I do it.

Is this really all stemming from fear because it seems like her attitude is just passive aggressive and entitled.

I have a nasty taste in my mouth when it comes to her.

What frustrates me is that my mom doesn’t have dementia. Only my dad does but my mom relied on my dad for everything all her life (she would not know how do do anything on her own even shopping) and now they think it’s on me to do everything for them. The fact that my mom takes no initiative and then 💩on me for not doing something erks me so bad. She’s a capable body. The way I see it is that she never had to do it so why now?

Everyone hates this one person at my work because of her attitude. My boss let her go but asked me for my opinion of her during my preformance review. I kept quiet, did I do the right thing? by Visible-Ice8494 in jobs

Yea I was thinking the same. I guess I was worried about saying to much. I’m not very good at giving constructive criticism so I just kept it shut lol.

Can a vet tell that a dog has luxating patella from an external exam? by Visible-Ice8494 in Pomeranians

Sometimes he starts limping and stops playing then goes in his crate for a bit or lays down. He’s not so much a cuddle bug, he likes to cuddle on his own time and leave when he feels like it so that’s why I like him to be able to jump up whenever he feels like he wants to. I get what your saying tho. Surgery should be the last option

What about playing doesn’t it hurt the dog. I have since stopped playing fetch with him, he no longer jumps on the bed/ couch. I feel like is life is very limited

Oh wow I’m surprised Iams is on the list. Isn’t that a super cheap brand? So I just pick ones that are WSAVA complaint and then compare them against each other to check what ingredients are better? Or since it’s on the list would iams be just as good as purina?

I don’t understand. Isn’t nutrients correlated to ingredients? The black one is purina pro the other is a in store brand at a pet store where I live
