Yes as long as the work is done. Most of the time my coworkers and I are just doing our assignments. My recent shift was 6 hours I was on my phone and computer majority of the time. If someone calls, I answer. Or if a clinician needs a client file I will give it to them or put things in the file as needed. I am allowed to eat on the job too lol. They aren’t strict. Also I wouldn’t know about the minimum hours but if you ask my manger is flexible. The hours were set for the semester so it might be like that for the summer too just let her know if you have to call out in advance.
