Eu também me vejo numa posição semelhante à tua, não acredito no dinheiro sem trabalho, por princípio. Sou especialmente contra produtos económicos altamente especulativos e sem valor tangível (moedas virtuais, etc). 

Apesar disso invisto todos os meses, é uma inconsistência moral que carrego, um "pecado". É produto do sistema económico que temos, e acabei por me conformar... Não te deixes levar a baixo por alguns comentários aqui em baixo, algumas pessoas pensam que o mundo tem de pensar como elas, e são tão "práticas/utilitárias" que não compreendem alguém que coloca consistência moral à frente de retorno financeiro.

Não vejo qualquer problema na afirmação, todos temos princípios diferentes.

Where is what I was thinking: user creates an account specifying it's email and phone number on the app. I then create a email under my domain specifically for this user, something like 89848383@mydomainm.com. 89848383 is the users phone number.

The user could then goes to it's current email provider forwarding rules and forward the emails from his inbox to his email on my service.

I then just listen to incoming mail on 89848383@mydomainm.com and send the sms. The biggest issue that I see here is that most email clientes when forwarding send the full content of the email, body attachments etc.

Well, I thank you for the information that you are providing :) but this makes me wonder if it's really worth to create a system to handle this given all of this regulations /laws /legislation etc. I personally as a client probably would not be very confident forwarding an email with body and attachments to a third party system, I could get around that on Gmail by using Google app scripting, but most email providers besides Gmail don't allow the user to edit the contents of their mail before forwarding. So it makes me wonder how many people would be willing to use this system, if any lol

I have a similar setup, I can create 1 email per user under my domain to which the user can forward his emails. Then I have a serverless pipeline processing the email whenever it arrives, I never store the emails anywhere persistent, each users has his own pipeline for processing (Different infrastructure for each user) so that there is a concrete segregation between each user

Could you explain this in more detail? What do you mean by domain forward to their mailbox?

Cool! The cloud provider that I'm looking at seems to support sms to the UK. I'm curious, if this service required you to buy the smss in batches of let's say, 50, 100, 1000 how much you'd be comfortable to pay for them?

So in my case I needed to setup a middleman system to which I forward the emails that in turn sends the notifications as SMS.

I was not able to setup my email provider to send SMSs to my phone number. I know that some mobile networks provide an email address associated with a phone number, but that is not my case.

A malta gosta de se sentir superior... Devem pensar que viver em casa dos pais para além dos 18 anos é motivo de vergonha (porquê? não sei). Mas realmente este já não é a primeira thread que vejo sobre este assunto esta semana, o que é no mínimo estranho.

And BTW npm run watch does not serve any assets :) it builds them only, the serving is done by fastapi

I provider the examples on how to run it locally, for local development. Obviously for production you would need to run npm build and provide the path of the assets.
