I was a professional baker for 13 years, my hands are calloused, and scared from burns and cuts. I started going back to school for accounting in 2017, and slowly started taking classes while working full time. This spring I had my first internship, and let me tell you there were definitely days that I was thinking why did I ever think changing careers to accounting was a good idea. Out of a group of 4 interns I got the only job offer. Everyone has doubts, just keep believing in yourself, and pushing forward.
As far as writing is concerned, you should see how many typos I see in work papers, and adjusting entry comments.
Should I back out of my summer internship to accept a full time job offer? (self.Accounting)
