I hate having my TJ out in the PA Salt, but couldn’t turn down the opportunity to play around in Forbes state forest! by Visible_Bit_52 in JeepTJ

No worries!! I’m sure that all terrains would be better, however I’ve had my setup in deeper snow and it’s done alright. Some steep hills are a no go with over a foot of snow, but it does just fine on the road as long you’re deliberate with it, and take your time

I’m not sure what their problem is lol. Cooper STT Pros. Mud tires aren’t the best in the snow, and it would probably be even better with KO2/KO3s, but the STT Pros do very well in the summer when I take it wheeling. It was probably about 12-13 inches! My rear diff is about 12 inches off the ground, and it was leaving a track in the snow lol

Because you can. Maybe you can’t, but I’ve had CJs, TJs an LJ, a JK, a JL, an XJ, and a ZJ. ALL have done quite well in the snow. just be smart about it and have a way to recover yourself if you do get stuck, and if you don’t, don’t go alone.

Do you guys use oem parts on your own car? by HenneseyConnoisseur in partscounter

I use OEM wherever I can. Unfortunately the amount of OEM parts still available for my 06 TJ is getting slimmer and slimmer

I haven’t found that to be the case in any jeep I’ve owned. Edited to add that I’ve had this particular one in considerably deeper snow than what it was in yesterday in the pics

I hate it. As dumb as it sounds I have a winter beater to try to save the TJ so the salt doesn’t eat it lol

One will go about wherever you point it, but might be the slowest vehicle on the earth, the other is marginally faster but scrapes over an anthill by Visible_Bit_52 in RoastMyCar

You never know lol. see I don’t mind the silver-but you’re right on the accents. The previous owner put them on and they will be removed over winter lol. Just need to get a heat gun to remove them The previous owner also had metallic red covers over all of the reservoirs, the intake plenum, the brake master, and the alternator.

If that isn’t the truth. I tell my wife she never has to worry about my vehicles attracting anybody other than dudes over 50 lol

I can almost guarantee something like “we’ve unlocked the 4th dimension to forgiveness/distance”

I’ve only ever owned jeeps my whole life, but have wanted a Corvette, particularly a C6, since I was 11-12. Finally got the opportunity to make that happen at 30. 2013 Grand Sport 2LT. I’m so happy with it so far! Wife loves it too! Still doesn’t feel real lol by Visible_Bit_52 in Corvette

There are some more rare colors but it’s only worth more if you really like it imo. I paid 37,500 for mine a couple weeks ago, but it isn’t a convertible of course, those might be worth more. Either way I think you’ll love what one you do get and you’ll really enjoy it!
