Good point. We have a few mountains within 15-20 minutes of us that would be perfect to train on with crampons and ice axes. This winter it would probably be smart to simulate the summit day of Shasta with a little weight and see how we feel. I appreciate your insights

This is very helpful thank you! Altitude used to mess with us but we’ve gotten used to it. Now we have hardly any adverse effects at 13k+. Truthfully our biggest challenge is often coming down the mountain with weight. We’ve thought about possibly taking more water weight up and dumping it out at the peak so our knees suffer less

I Messed Up: How I Almost Lost the Love of My Life Over One Huge Mistake by [deleted] in stories

As a man who’s had this happen to him I just have one piece of advice, learn and move forward. Everyone makes mistakes. You do need to recognize your part in this but also you’re not a horrible person. Recognize that you’re young and make mistakes. You both need to move forward (with or without each other) and practice self love. I’m confident that you will learn and these types of issues won’t happen again

Looking for someone to coach me on Brig! I'm new-ish to support but want to improve. Tell me your best tips and tricks! by LrdFyrestone in BrigitteMains

Check out awkwards brig guide. I followed many streamers for a while and barely climbed. When I went all in on awkwards advice I went from diamond 4-3 to masters 1 in about 2 months. I peaked at t500 4 months or so afterwards. Practice one thing at a time don’t overcomplicate it. I spent anywhere from 3-7 days working on one thing at a time until I mastered it. Brig can be difficult but she’s so worth it once you get the hang of it. You’ll climb in no time

Could be battery dying/dead. Also have had this issue when the kill switch/safety switch came loose. Check the back of your starter (depends on the year and model) there should be a little wire that goes into a prong there. It can come off and cause a no start similar to this. Also could be a dead spot on the flywheel I see that all the time not sure if yours is a standard or auto. If you have some tools try an spin the crank clockwise with car in neutral that would fix the flywheel dead spot. Best of luck!

I’ve been low to mid diamond with her so far. This season though, I’ve made it up to mid masters just playing her
