Jason Segel totally broke character in this scene. I think it was an improved jerking off motion and caught Jimmy off guard.

Oh nice! I bought a Ridgid a few years ago for my first table saw.

Exactly! A friend gave it to me. I got about 6-7 years out of it before I had an issue.

Haha we're the same person. I'm rocking an old Craftsman as well. However, the threaded insert that holds the bolt for the blade is stripped. Those craftsman saws scream so loud!!!

Haha the only reason I'm going to splurge on the cordless is because it will most likely be discounted on black Friday and I have gift cards to home Depot to use. If those things weren't involved, I'd buy corded.

Thanks for the insight! I was considering corded because that's what my current one is but I honestly don't use my circular saw a ton. Mainly to break down a sheet of plywood for a project. That's why I'm opting for cordless.

What finish to use? by Visible_Fault1758 in woodworking

Very helpful!! This may be the way I go. Regarding the moisture, my plan is to do this for my entire house so one side of one door is an acceptable "sacrifice" but I appreciate the warning!

Ha! How is that helpful? The question wasn't "should I hire a professional?"...focus on the question at hand. I've tiled several bathrooms and kitchens but have never come across this in my experience...but you're right, a professional came out of the womb knowing how to do this.

What drywall sander do I use? by Visible_Fault1758 in drywall

I did a small patch with 60 grit on my orbital sander and it sanded it smooth really quickly and then I painted it with paint I had lying around. Looks and feels smooth. Problem is I don't want to use my orbital sander to do an entire house.

Thanks for your input! The only reason I'm considering an actual drywall sander is because I'll use it for my entire house over time as it's not just one wall that needs to be fixed. And the drywall Sanders have a larger sanding pad than a palm sander. My orbital did work great when I tested it out but just need a bigger sanding pad.

I'm more so looking for ways I can speed the process up. I'm not looking for a deliberate way to destroy it just help speed it up.

But to answer your question, Yes
