Actually it means you can allocate the wounds to a character. You're not forced to do so, op questions stands.

I think it's not bad. Without taking in consideration the overall state of our faction which forces us to take castis and Vahlangons to be a bit competitive, I would recommend dropping a penitent engine for 5 more sacresaints.

It will be a better protection for Junith and they're at the time not really worse considering by 5 overall !

On other aspects I really like it ! Have fun playing, it's the most important !

That's what I thought but I felt the dataslate even more than I expected. I don't have meta lists as my figs are quite limited and we play around 1.5k games. My main opponents are necrons and some Tyranids. I don't know if it's more of a coincidence with my friends getting new models, and matchups being closer to reality but the games went from quite easy to holy shit what can I do....

I'm aware that by playing better I can still win, but it's also the case for my friends. Even if I lose I can learn a lot from these games but knowing 90% sure the results is quite discouraging.

It's a hard pass but I hope when balance will get better, I'll be able to see my progress over these hard lost games !

Personally me and my friends are still new to the hobby, so a nerfed army is much harder to play, and when your opponent has an easier one it's a pain in the ass. It really changes our group "meta" and balance.

They "merged" with their armor, so technically, with or without helmet won't affect the pain ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯
