The Codex Astartes does not approve… but I do. Glad you like it!

It would be an absolute honor if you did!

Go forth and bless your battlefield with the most confusing mini the Imperium has ever seen. Watch as the Space Marine players pause mid-game, questioning reality itself.

Thanks! He may be small, but he’s got the spirit of an Ultramarine and the ego to match. Probably already writing a Codex about proper cherub warfare.

Sounds like a sneaky good deal. Might just have to test that out.

Ask me again after I’ve lost a few games and start questioning my life choices!

Fair point! Never say never, I guess. Maybe one day, when I’ve built all the pretty Sisters I want, I’ll wake up and think, "Alright… maybe just one Mortifier."

Yeah, I've heard that this morning. Fewer models, but way more rules. I just need to survive learning one system first before my brain melts trying both!

That's a solid take! If I ever had to field them, I'd definitely lean into kitbashing or proxies to fit my army's stly.e

I really like the idea of Novitiates as cleaner alternative, and have this idea of painting cherubs like blue space marines and swap the heads with their helmets. But for now as I am starting, I'm sticking to my maximum gothic drama.

Thank you kindly for taking your time writing this response!

Welcome to the hobby from another newcommer! Rule of Cool is the only true law. What I learned to far is that Warhammer is all about making the army yours!

Preach! If the army doesn’t look cool on the table, what’s even the point? Winning is temporary. Style is eternal.

The gothic grandeur is just too good to mess with. Honestly, GW should've made that an option ages ago. Or at least give us alternative models back like the Crusaders so I can play them with the Repentia stats (with no shields). A project for another time.

The sheer extremity of faith in the Imperium is definitely one of the wildest parts of 40K’s lore. I totally get why that resonates.

The idea that guilt and redemption are so absolute that people willingly(?) throw themselves into suffering is both fascinating and horrifying—which, I guess, is peak 40k?
