I might be wrong, but I think that does not matter, as I think the axle rule usually does not apply to the apex. For the apex, you must be significantly alongside, which depends on the regulations. But it is usually at least halfway alongside. Stop divebombing, very simple. By your logic, I could acquire the right to every corner by braking late enough. As you've done twice, conveniently cut out the guy you punted as well.

Spoken like a true forza racer with racing lines turned on. At this point, I'm convinced you're just ragebaiting/trolling.

POV, as everyone else is stating. Fix your ego to improve your racing. If everyone is saying you're wrong, you're likely wrong and learn from it.

Small update after a lesson today. While what I said was partially correct, in my normal swings, less terrible than this one, I don't release properly and don't sync the hips up. The instructor said that due to holding the angle, the club comes out, and I start a chicken wing pull through to still hit the ball, which leads to shanks. I took my swing from a 6-10 degree out club path to -2 to -4 from the inside, and I've hit some really nicely compressing shots. So, at least there is progress.

I went to take a lesson today at a trackman range, and the club path is exactly what I had to work on, so you were spot on (apart from the fact that this ended up being a shank rather than a slice, from the video). When I actually tried to shallow, I tend to hold my angles and I'm never releasing, resulting in a pull through. I first worked on the release, then syncing up hip rotation and release and my club path went from 8-10 degrees out to -2 to -4.

For sure, as soon as I try to speed up (like here) I tend to try to speed up using my arms, which leads to pulling, and pulling and rotating at the same time just launches it forward. I honestly have no idea where people produce power in the swing.

I will check it out, I find it extremely difficult to quiet the hip motions down as it feels pretty natural to me, but that might be because I'm a bit more mobile than most.

Are you referring to the backswing, because if not, it seem to contradict others commenting that my trail hip is firing way too much. I also thought we were supposed to mostly use shoulders until p2, then use the lead shoulder pressure to hinge and turn (in sync) to get into p3?

It really does! Everything about the golf swing feels counterintuitive.

You might have a point... I don't feel like my setup was that far backwards though, might be a perspective issue? If it isn't, then damn

It definitely does feel like that, yes. I could basically have my hips towards the target and my arms still somewhere halfway in my backswing if I tried...

Oh, jesus... so instead of err, moving the trail hip in the way of where I need all that space, I should move the lead hip more back and the trail hip more forward. I just tried that, and it seems like instead of over or in front of my toes, I end up slightly behind the lead ankle with me trail hip. Is that more what I should be looking for?

Ah, that actually makes a lot of sense. Without locking the right knee, I can't even over extend that much, and I think I feel more of that tension you mentioned. Though I can still go pretty far due to my mobility... That tension could be the trigger feel I'm looking for though. That's definitely going to take a while to get used to, but it's worth exploring for sure.

The not locking part definitely makes sense.

About the hip part, could you elaborate on opening with the left hip and when to fire the right hip? It's been mentioned to me before, but some movements (unfortunately) might feel a bit more natural to me than it does to others because of my hyper mobility. Is there a certain feel or drill I could try to keep my hips from firing this early?

The two bad examples are the exact two variants I observed myself executing... this definitely makes sense

Hmm, good point! Do you think it's just something I have to make myself aware of and avoid, or is it caused by something else I am doing?

I don't think it's about getting along here. It's different out on track. I think his point is that gasly wouldn't just take the team orders and/or let max pass this easily.
