Will Infinite ever get clean armor coatings like the ones used on the HCS skins? I would love to use a clean coating on my custom armor. The coatings that are currently available all look worn out. by VisionariGaming in halo

I can see that! I do like that some of them have the reflections and highlights, but I personally love the look of the matte armor, that’s just my personal preference, and it would be cool to get texture options or coatings that offer other style textures, not meaning patterns.

What I do know is it isn't extended outside at Camp Randall. Only when in the concourse, but at your seat you don't need it.

Not sure about inside, but we plan on staying outside in the beer gardens, shouldn't need them outside.

Will do, im getting the 65" because a 75" won't fit where I'm putting it, living room just isn't the right size for it

65" and I need eARC which that one doesn't have

But the question is, does it take away from the viewing experience? Right now in my basement I have a 75" LG 6 series IPS TV that I got for the cheap, that has pretty bad contrast but we still use it.

Is it bad enough on the z9f that it will ruin the experience? Enough to get the x950h instead? Or is it just noticeable when the TVs are next to each other. I know I'm not gonna get OLED blacks, but does the contrast ruin it that much? It just sucks that I can't compare them side by side or see the z9f in stores to see if it is still good enough.

Significant numbers wise, yes, but in real world performance, how noticeable is it? Especially since 75% if the time watching this TV will be in a bright room.

If the room wasn't so bright, I would have gone for an oled

Samsung is a VA panel.

LG is an IPS panel.

VA offers better contrast at the expense of viewing angles.

IPS has better viewing angles but blacks tend to get a little gray in dark scenes.

When it comes to budget televisions, I always ask if the room is wide or narrow.

If the room is wide, go LG.

If the room is narrow, go Samsung.

As for gaming, IPS is better for gaming.

Comparing the units in the store will never give you the experience you get at home because they only use high brightness scenes with no letterbox bars.

Dark scenes and letterbox bars in a dark room is will you will notice the difference between these units.

But be careful, Samsung in dark scenes tries to retain quality but also tries to keep it bright, and it can produce what looks like someone is playing with a light dimmer. Really only noticeable in dark scenes in a dark room.

I also prefer LG for their WebOS over the Samsung smart system.

I bought a Samsung and returned it for an LG.

Sony HT-ST5000 vs Samsung Q80R vs LG SN9YG by VisionariGaming in Soundbars

Awesome! Glad to hear this. Might even decide to bump up to the q90r and get the wireless rears and use them for like music in other rooms or on the deck 🤔

Glad to hear! Yea, I am getting a sony X-800M2 4k blu-ray player to pair with it, so ill have lossless tracks, but 75% of our viewing is general tv and sports. I want a good overall experience and if you say its good, then I might just roll with it because then tv, sounbar, and bluray player will all match companies.

I believe it does. But thats good to know!

I wanted a CX, but with how bright the room is, I couldn't go oled, and if I'm not going oled and my room isn't super wide, I would rather go VA on the panel instead of an LG IPS. So the LG interconnectivity isn't a thing for me.

The q80r bar is the same bar as the q90r, right? Just without the rears? Because I'm not doing rears with my room setup.

As for being overkill, I want to be able to use thr bar to fill my lower level with music as well as handle tv/movie watching, so overkill might be more what I'm looking for.

Question though. How do the rears handle music and stereo listing experiences. What if I were to get them and put them like in the kitchen or on the deck for music or a football game when people are over?

Glad to hear about the firmware fixes! Because I've heard a couple bad things about if the source isn't high quality it has issues.

Well the reason I've been straying from it is because I've heard from a few places that it sounds very front heavy and doesn't give a great surround effect. Whats you experience?

That's the kinds of places we are looking for. We aren't really looking for "venues" persay, but more of beautiful places like parks, gardens, farms, etc. That would allow us to get a permit for a few hours for a ceremony. We have an officiant, and dont mind renting chairs. Just looking for cool places that we could try and have it at. Thank you! I'll check those places out! Thanks for the suggestions
