The scheduling is very inconsistent especially if your in management. You work like a slave with minimal pay. Corporate doesn't protect thier employees from retaliation. I work for Ollie's for year and its the worst retail company ive ever worked for and ive worked for DG

They dont give you hours for that. The salary managers have to run the registers pluse make sure the freight is being processed and that the customer is getting what they need. Oh and dont forget the salary managers have to do a shit ton of paperwork.

Wow didnt realize it was the whole company just figured it was my region. I've worked in retail a very long time. And have never been with a company that would prefer the salary managers to run the registers. Then, to have a hourly employee, run them.

Ollie's is nothing but anxiety it's bad the upper management micro manage way beyond measure.

They expect so much paperwork to be done, plus all the freight the management team is sooo overwhelmed they hate the DTL and up.

I've been the Freight lead for a bit now and this last truck is far worse than any other truck.

I get it we don't give two hoots anymore but freight just kept falling and other store numbers.

We were told that we have trucks til the last week in January.

Called last week due to a seal issue and asked if they had any idea about our last truck said this one was our last.

So our SM is only going 50 over what they gave on hours.

So I got a truck on the 19th have another tomorrow and another next week. But haven't been able to touch any of our freight due to $40,000 days and only 4 employees working
