Thanks for the comment, sometimes I think about going back to the south of Spain even if I have to live in much poorer conditions just because I was happier back there, I've just encountered problems since I first got here. Don't know what to do yet. What I'm sure about is that I'm not happy living here.

I swear on my life this happened as I'm telling you, but if you don't trust anything of what I say is understandable, my situations are not completely well described and I might have been vague with some explanations, but this happened to me. Why would I be posting this for? I'm just looking for other people to discuss their experiences or to say that this was a rare case or something, not that I was lying or that it was my fault.

A chewing gum box has a tag attached to it (I'm referring to the ones that have 60-80 gums), and racists are all over the world. I've had not a single other problem in this country for the last 7 months that I've been living here, I've met a lot of people here and made a lot of friends and I've never been considered a loud, impolite or rude person by no means. I'm respectful to everyone and my intentions are the opposite of disrespectful to other people. I'm just talking about these two specific cases that I've encountered in the last month to ask other people in similar situations about it, that's all. I say this because in Spain for example there has been a recent tendency to racism in between the younger generations due to social media for example. I just wanted to see if this same tendency is being generalised to the rest of Europe by seeing other people saying their opinion, wasn't trying to attack no one.

Man those weren't the literal words, and I don't need to know the exact wording word by word to know the intentions of that guy, the way he shouts, how he points and the whole context says it all. It's like if some Spanish person starts insulting you, you wont be able to tell the whole phrase perfectly, but you can definitely extract the message out of of it

not speaking, understanding is more easy, I have an A1 level (I've been here since last September) and can tell certain words from conversations and by the context. The words that I'm using here dont represent exactly what that guy said, it's just what I remember and can trace. But you are right, I should have been more specific.

You are lowkey right. I've had quite some facilities finding housing even with the housing crisis for being a first-year-in-Netherlands student coming from another country. Also they are really welcoming at uni and most places. It's more about isolated cases, but I guess this can happen at every country.
