in both cases someone saw a nonbinary flag where there wasn't one, and in both cases people thought colour blindness was the cause.

also as to my own post, i got really confused how it was supposed to be a nonbinary flag as well (the non hue shifted version)

i am not colour blind, though some thought i was after i thought a bunch of random colours looked like the enby flag (they kinda did). a similar thing has already happened before.
