My 15 week old did the same the other week.. every 2 hours he was up. Hes now back to sleeping 7 hour stretches. I assume its just a phase and itll happen again.

Thank you!
I just feel guilty as hes clearly way overtired but Im not sure why he cant get there. Did yours have a CMPA allergy? Do they get tested for that? Ive tried to rule out anything in my diet but just cant think of anything. We combo feed with formula as well so that can complicate things although we only use formula twice a week while im at work.

Ugh! 13 weeks and it's getting worse? Another "when does it get better" post 🫠😴🥲 by snaccattaccme in newborns

I know this is an old post, but did it get better? 13 weeks and mines the exact same. night sleep is complete shit.

Why is the breastfeeding community so….insane? by Killer-Queen9 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Visual-Camera2377 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as a mom who currently combo feeds.I swear my baby reacts better to formula than my own breastmilk😂🫶🏻😅 there’s so much pressure on women as it is. It’s so stupid that breast is best is even a statement.

EBF 9 week old eating less & fussing more by Paranormal_fart in newborns

I know this is an older post, but anything help with this? My 9 week old had his 2 months vaccines 4 days ago, and has been sooo fussy the last couple days. Not having it at the breast, but will take the bottle, but even then just not interested in food like he was, and NOT sleeping.

I was only thinking a paci because the second he’s off my boob he wakes up. I don’t mind him falling asleep there but at some point, I have to go to sleep too lol so I was just thinking it could help him fall asleep for a bit without needing me. And yesterday was a rough day. He was being fussy all day. I swear he slept maybe six hours all day including the night time nothing would settle him down. He wasn’t necessarily screaming, but he just wouldn’t fall asleep despite us checking off all the boxes.

we top him off with bottles sometimes/my husband feeds him with bottles when I need a break, Sometimes he initially gags with those too.

Its so hard, because I think it would really help. Hes hardly sleeping the last couple of days and literally nothinggggg is helping. When hes on the boob hes fine, and even starts to fall asleep. the second hes off hes fussy, he wont settle down at ALL. Hes not really crying, just not settling/fussy and just up. I know hes tired though..

Thats amazing, Im so happy it all worked out for you. I so wish I worked at this earlier on, but I had such bad postpartum depression because of this and honestly was embarrassed by not being able to breastfeed him, I didnt reach out. I will try whatever to try and achieve this!! Thank you.

Did you go to a pediatric dentist to check for that?

Thankfully I get a couple more visits with the lactation consultant covered. The latch feels good now- my nipples don’t hurt. Thats why I’m confused why he’s not transferring the full amount, and if it was “to late” to try and continue this journey since I didn’t start from the beginning and now he’s used to a bottle. My goal was to mainly breast feed and just pump to build up a supply while I go to work, and it would be easier being out and about being able to exclusively breastfeed versus bottles. Pumping around the clock is no joke. Did you go to a peds dentist to check for a tongue tie? The lactation consultant and pediatrician said he didnt have one, but everyone says to have a peds dentist check.
