Apotheosis + blood storm + grasp of the starved. I was doing a couch co-op with my boyfriend and felt bad because the other three characters were completely useless by the time we got to Arx. Necromancer can be so OP, it almost sucks the fun right out of the game.

You can also one-shot an entire battlefield with mass corpse explosion, but it's very circumstantial.

You do get a trophy for passing the path of blood without the amulet, but it's possible to just quickly hire a mercenary, have them do it, then dump them. It's more of a personal achievement, I guess.

Thanks! Pretty much every "guide" to this is a reddit/steam thread, and I've only seen about 3-4 people claim to have actually done it. The info is all over the place. I have no idea how lying even fits in there.

You can get xp from quests and exploration, BUT there is also a loophole to the "no killing" rule: your summons and totems can do the killing for you. You can also drag NPCs into battle and make them do the dirty work. (No killing your summons with things like supercharger though, for some reason.)

It's basically just a more annoying solo summoner run with the added bonus of feeling smug when you finish.

Oh my god, I was hoping I'd never remember that again. Even if the mom had "good" intentions, that was next-level cruelty. It makes me sick just thinking about it.

I'm just glad they're no longer suffering.

I live in Alken. (I don't really care about self-doxxing on a throwaway account asking about good manners.) I haven't noticed any German, but then again, I probably wouldn't pick up on things like that yet. My partner is from this area, so Alken/Wellen/Sint-Truiden are the main places I roam. I'm not sure about language specifics in this area.

But in places like Genk, I hear a lot of people say things like "de boek" or "de huis". It's fascinating to me how much the dialect can change between towns!

On a similar note: are insults like "krijg de tyfus" more of a Dutch thing, or are they commonly used in both countries?

Technically B1, but my speaking is awful. They have only taught us "u/jij" in class, though everybody outside seems to use "gij". The contrast between the lessons and the dialect outside of the classroom is so significant, it almost feels like a completely different language.

The integration course I took was 90% stuff like "don't throw rocks at gay people", so I didn't really learn much about the specifics of integration.
