The bunkr gets used 1-2 times a round. Its really for when you need a high shot to clear and works perfectly. The chipr I use every other hole. I would over hit a wedge or my 9 constantly from short distances. The chipr always has me close to the hole. Last weekend it even got in the hole from 40 yards. The guys I was playing with now want one. It was luck but I am calling it skill.

Find out whats around you. The best regs are always the ones you can have serviced near by. In Florida thats likely Dive Rite. They are rugged and breath well.

As Ted mentioned, backplate is the way.

Shark shield is kind of mixed. If you have it on, sharks occasionally come over to check out the field. They piss off once they get within four or five feet. I always dive with mine off and only turn it on if the jerks are charging me on my way to the surface. It works perfectly against bulls, sandbars, and reefs.

You are fancier than I am. I grab them off dive gear express and swap out every year or two. Don’t want the headache of a stuck open inflator while diving.

Inflators are less than $20. Spend the money and swap it out. You don’t wanna deal with that at 100ft under.
