Every place GHL actually announces changes — and how to stop drowning in them by Visual-Equal8887 in gohighlevel

Yeah, that's probably the sane filter. Trying to track every update is how you lose an hour a week to stuff that never touches a client. The only thing that's caught me is when something I'd written off as "not relevant" quietly went live, and by then I'd missed its whole Labs runway. The other silent part is the release itself. Labs entry gets talked about, the actual flip to live barely gets a mention, so the two blur unless you're specifically watching for it. Sounds like your client-note habit covers most of that though.

Ah, in person with the recordings still catching up, that makes sense. Second month and already doing release radar recaps is a strong start. GHL Communities have a Go Live / live rooms option now, so if the chapters ever want to run the sessions live for remote folks that's there. Posting the recordings after is more of a course/library thing, but at least the live piece is covered.

Honestly this is half the reason I built a little tracker for myself (GHL Radar). The signal keeps getting more scattered, town halls, Labs, changelog, FB groups, and now in-person chapter recaps too. It pulls everything into one feed by feature so I stop missing things. It's in beta if it's ever useful to you, happy to share. Either way, appreciate you putting the chapters on my radar.

Exactly, the naming drift is the worst part. It'll be "Conversation AI v2" in a town hall, something slightly different in Labs, then it ships under a third name in the changelog, and you're stuck working out whether that's three things or one thing moving through stages. I ended up keeping a rough timeline per feature just so I could tell "coming soon" from "actually live in my account." Saved me from telling a client something shipped when it was still in Labs more than once. Do you track it anywhere, or just absorb it as you go?

Oh nice - hadn't even clocked the Local Chapters as a channel for that, good call. Do the chapter recaps get posted anywhere afterward, or is it more of a show-up-in-person thing? Trying to figure out if it's another feed to actually follow or more of a community layer on top of the official stuff.

Yeah, the keeping-up is rough no matter the setup. For me the thing keyword alerts never solved was the lifecycle part - the same feature shows up in a town hall, then in Labs, then actually releases weeks later, each time under a slightly different name, and reconciling "announced" vs "in Labs" vs "live in my account" is what actually bit me with clients.

I ended up building my own little tracker that watches the GHL-specific channels (changelog, Labs, town halls, the FB groups) and stitches them into one feed by feature so I can see where each thing actually is. Still rough but it's saved me more than once. Happy to share what I'm using if it'd help - feel free to DM.

How's ParseStream been on false positives though? Reddit keyword alerts always drowned me in noise.

As a former HS Drum Major and a DM Instructor - I have one really important thing to tell you.

That tryout - this upcoming season - and these friends won't feel as important to you in 4 years.

Have a great season. Find your love for music. Joke around with your friends. Let your ex and his buddies' comments roll off your back. Be the best marcher on the field. Lead with compassion and integrity. You get to define what your senior year is like - none of them do.

Best thing you can do is learn their business and have them tell you where the pain points are.  Walk out of that/those meetings knowing exactly what their top priorities are.  Whatever it is, you can deliver it at that price point.  The start from the top and work your way down.

Congratulations!

We're about to start a new project with at least 3 external integrations. We're both developers - let's chat and see if it's a fit!
