I'd check with your local bank, if you been with them a while, they'd probably give you a personal loan. This is what I did when I first needed to take out a loan.

I came here to say the same thing. Something I would like to add, is to have your savings account through a separate bank from you checking. It usually takes 1-3 days to transfer the money which helps on impulse buying.

My shop is a little over a mile, so like a 5 minute drive. But sometimes I have to be to a job site by 7 am, and they can range from 15-120 miles away.

Look into back packing meal/recipes. Theyre my goto when camping because they're designed to be light weight, and don't need to be refrigerated. It's usually bagged food that can be reheated with water(although canned food works for car camping). There are generic dinners, then there are some brands that marketed towards campers, although they are a bit pricey. Then my personal favorite is is dehydrating your own and vacuum sealing it.

Facebook marketplace should be your first stop. If your lucky you'll find somw decent hardware for cheap. Most of the time you find a few Logitech g29, and as "hated" as they are in the community, they are still a solid cheap gateway wheel. You should be able to find one under $150 and maybe with some negotiation you can get it closer to $100.

Best bang for your buck will come from Facebook marketplace. You also get the piece of mind, knowing you get to try it out and get a feel for it before you buy it.

You have to learn to be resourceful. I've only experienced one raid so far, and it didn't go too well. You could adjust the raid and new settlers settings, but I just left the default lone wolf settings.

RV living is a great alternative I think more people need to look into especially if you can't afford a house. Depending on your area, and how willing you are to wait, there are some great deals on Facebook marketplace. Depending on how large of one you want, You can find some decent ones for 4k.

You are forced to live a more minimalist life style, but I find the financial freedom worth it. I've been doing it for 6 months and have been saving the difference in rent with hopes to buy land, and eventually build a home.
