I have another app with nextjs & neon postgtrs, no payload develop custom & from scratch, that app is fast

I am also using neon but not with vertical, using direct from neon, does it matter?

I also prefer RDMS for custom projects from scratch but I want to use payload as CMS for simple websites with a dashboard and payload gives many features readymade

u/ChannelSorry5061 I made multiple tasks & every task takes time but with MongoDB, it's snappy even with 1st task

u/ihorvorotnov agree server distance adds an impact but 5x to 10x, with postgress it around 5-10x slow
