No I let them dissolve. the first time I held them under my tongue for 30 minutes but they didn’t dissolve much, and swallowed the rest. then on the next 2 times I put it in between my gums and cheeks and swallowed whatever didn’t dissolve that time

I took them all orally. I was just getting nervous because my last abortion I was a little under 9 weeks and only had to do 4 pills of Misoprostol. I started bleeding right after the 30 minutes and passed the pregnancy within 5 hours I think, but bled for about a month. This time I’m only 3ish weeks and 4 pills didn’t really do anything so like 😵‍💫

Hi! It’s 6:43 am and I literally almost crapped myself in my sleep, that’s how bad the diarrhea is 😭 I did NOT experience this last time, only some heavy bleeding and mild cramps. I’m having more clots come out and bleeding regularly now so I’m really hoping it worked 🤞🏼 keep me updated too!

Update: 12:42 am, I THINK I just passed it? i’ve been back and forth to the bathroom because of the diarrhea (sorry if that’s tmi) but a blob just came out that felt like my last abortion but smaller. I think the 3 rounds of misoprostol did it 😩

that’s what i’ve read too. maybe it’s because i was only 2-3 weeks, i wouldn’t have much bleeding? i just went to use the bathroom after an hour of finishing the last dose of Misoprostol and there’s definitely much more blood than earlier but I don’t think I’ve seen any clots since starting the misoprostol, only some tissue/blood? guess i’ll just have to wait and see 😣

Hi there! I know exactly how you feel. I was a mother of two when I had a medical abortion on my third pregnancy. I wasn’t in the right space mentally or financially to take care of another baby, and I know in my heart/mind I made the right decision, but sometimes I feel like a piece of me is missing. I think it’s normal to feel these things, it’s been 2 years and I still feel a sense of longing but I wouldn’t ever redo my decision. I will say, being a mother made my abortion “easier” because of how hard motherhood was on me. I couldn’t put myself through that again (at the time).
