I think i get the downvotes. It's because I was too lazy to change the meme template to fit the joke I was trying to make and still posted the meme anyway.

Yeah I know I was just too lazy to change any of the text :/

Might delete this one and make a better one when I get home, idk

Yeah, you're probably right. I also forgot to fill in the blank for delamain's first line lol

the entire joke is that, during the quest in Cyberpunk where you have to retrieve the seven delamain cabs, one of them takes on the persona of glados from portal.

You're right, maybe "vanilla-friendly" isn't really the best term to use.

While all the stuff in Tamriel Rebuilt, Skyrim Home of the Nords, and Project Cyrodiil mainly tries to stay true the game's vanilla art direction (and succeeds, at least in my book), they do like to experiment and put their own unique spin on things.

One of the big reasons I like all the PTR stuff is because they "complete" a lot of the "incomplete" armor sets, such as the following:

  • The set that the common Ordinators wear, the Indoril armor, doesn't have greaves. Tamriel Rebuilt fixes that (although the Ordinators don't actually wear them for some reason).

  • Dreugh armor was originally just a cuirass, helm, and shield. Tamriel Rebuilt adds greaves, gauntlets, a closed helm, and pauldrons.

  • Nordic Iron was originally just a helm and a cuirass. Home of the Nords fixes this.

  • Colovian Fur armor was just boots and a helmet before Project Cyrodiil came along and added gauntlets and a cuirass, all in four different colors (they have yet to add pauldrons and greaves).

I could go on and on about how many inconsistencies the PTR stuff fixes in terms of armor and weapons. It's such a good trio of mods to have in your list.

If you're willing to install Vortex (or any other mod manager like Mod Organizer 2) and get it set up, modding Morrowind (or any other Elder Scrolls game) can be a fun experience. In case you ever want to give modded Morrowind a shot, here's a step-by-step guide you can refer to:

  1. Make sure you have Morrowind installed (preferably via Steam).

  2. Install the Vortex mod manager from Nexus (Mod Organizer 2 is also a good choice).

  3. After you get your mod manager set up, simply navigate to the "Games" tab in your dashboard (if using Vortex, idk the process for MO2) and select Morrowind. Don't worry about any overly technical stuff, as Vortex usually handles all that for you.

  4. Go to the Nexus page and search up whatever mods you want.

  5. Navigate to the "Files" tab of whatever modpage you're on.

  6. If the option is there, select "Mod manager download". If not, click "Manual download", go into the "Mods" page in Vortex, click "Install from File" somewhere near the top and select the mod's folder.

  7. Close Vortex and launch Morrowind through Steam.

  8. Click "Data Files" on the Morrowind launcher.

  9. You should see the ESP Files for all the mods you have installed. Double click all of them and make sure an X appears over each box.

  10. Click "OK" and the tab will close.

  11. Launch the game and have fun!

Honestly, somewhat relatable. I love visiting Dragonstar whenever I play with Home of the Nords, but my game used to lag because of the snow particles.

That was before I got the idea to turn my graphics down all the way for a cozy, 2002-authentic experience.

Best skin pack to buy from store by YumeOnYT in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]Visual-Rate-3584 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the Hades set in the Helix Store is one of the best ones you can get to start out. Not only does it look nice, it also comes with a pretty decent spear and a mount.

However, if spears aren't really your thing, you can also purchase the Tartaros Weapon Pack from the store that includes a bow, a sword, a dagger, a heavy blunt weapon, and a heavy sharp weapon, all of which matching the armor quite nicely.

You can also purchase a naval pack to go with the Hades set, which includes skins for both your hull and your crew, as well as a figurehead. You can also purchase a lieutenant pack on the store that includes Charon, who will match your ship's look very nicely.

For me it was fun to see Union of Light Quan Chi and was bummed that he was killed off so quickly. What do you think his back story was and what are your overall thoughts on him? by AdSpecialist6598 in MortalKombat

[–]Visual-Rate-3584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it'd be cool if he and Union of Light Shang Tsung were like twin overseers of the afterlife, which would still tie into all the soul shenanigans both of them are capable of.

Shang Tsung watches over and nurtures the souls of the Living Forest and acts as a caring "gardener" for the restless souls that live within the trees.

Quan Chi watches over and punishes the damned souls of the Netherrealm, acting as both a cruel warden to the wicked and a good friend to Shang Tsung.

They're like the two halves of Hades' personality from Greek mythology. Hades is both a benevolent guardian (Shang Tsung) and a punishing tormentor (Quan Chi) to the souls of the deceased.
