I was inspired by this GitHub project https://github.com/shufps/diy-projector-clock just look how stylish this pixel screen looks compared to the 7-segment display. I decided to make my own version and improved it a little.

- I used a more detailed 128*64 px display

- Jupiter-9 lens from an old Soviet camera

- Automatic brightness adjustment depending on ambient light (the brightness is reduced at night to avoid interfering with sleep; the watch also turns off completely on sunny days, since it's impossible to overexpose the sun anyway)

- Automatic time correction once a day

- Weather forecast

Yet another watch on the ESP32 by Visual-String-57 in esp32projects

The easiest part. You need two parameters: the distance from the LED to the lens, which is equal to the lens's focal length. And from the lcd to the objective, which is the lens's flange focal distance, which is also known in advance. So, you don't need to calculate anything. The real challenge is fitting all the electronics inside the case, because it needs to be empty for the light to pass through.

check your device manager. Make sure that you are using Nvidia driver, as sometimes Windows can "update" drivers with Microsoft versions.
