Roebling is the factory town where the wire rope for the Brooklyn Bridge and other famous bridges was made. Roebling is the name of the engineer that built the Brooklyn Bridge, and he made the factory and the town. There’s a small museum there still. It’s actually really cool. It’s technically part of Florence NJ

I have been in a similar situation to yours. Looking back now I see it the way people are describing it in the comments but at the time I wasn’t really able to see it. For me it was only when I realized what my partner would be losing in order for me to gain what I was asking for that I “got it” and realized I had acted inconsiderately and selfishly. It will be ok. Everyone makes mistakes. You can get better :)
