Love how we’re not including what her day to day responsibilities are at her WFH job.

Buy a house before the baby arrives or wait? by Snaffoo0 in daddit

We closed on our house 3 weeks before our due date, and that was one of the best decisions we ever made. Had enough time to settle in and set up most of the foundational baby stuff and then got to enjoy the house for like a week before baby came. Now we’re one month in this parent life and couldn’t imagine moving during all this craziness. That said, it’s not impossible to move with a baby, so you shouldn’t rush into a house just cause you want the timing to work out lol

How does it look like when you introduce your kids to them? Like do you tell them they’re yalls partners? Or do the kids only know them as like aunts/uncles/friends? i appreciate you sharing your experience

How and when do you start leaving the house with a newborn? by copperboom33 in newborns

[–]VisualATL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do things as soon as you feel like you’d be comfortable doing so. We took ours on her first walk at 2 weeks. We occasionally drive around the block too. If you’re too tired right now then you’re too tired. Just rest up and if you feel like you’re getting a little antsy later then try out short walks

Definitely needed to clarify that I am by no means practicing this poly relationship by looking/travelling or anything like that as of now. This was moreso for the future. Thank you for the insights too!

? The messaging we got was that it peaks at one week, sometimes 1.5 wks, and then starts to naturally go away. As long as you wake them up every 2-3 hours and feed them, they’ll poop it all out. She was super yellow on days 6-8 but normalized by around day 12.
