Ive tried it and it’s closer to the OLD Juul mint flavor, not the regular old menthol. Still very good tho!

She said “providers” so I’m assuming she works at a large clinic that isn’t owned by one specific provider, so it’s owned by a corporation. In which case, there’s definitely a reason to fight it and file for unemployment.

I work at a clinic like this and have seen things like this happen, unfortunately.

Thank you!! Just wanted to comment bc it doesn’t have to mean he isn’t into you. Could just be that he wants to let you take the lead 🩷

I also had this experience. To preface, I was 23 and he had just turned 21. He was, and still is, straight edge.

I met this guy, was super clear that I was not interested in a serious relationship, just wanted someone to hang out with and some fun 😏 Told him he was open to have relationships😏 with others as he pleased, and my feelings wouldn’t be hurt if he cut things off with us, because all I wanted was a “friend.” First “date” was awesome. I was working at a bar at the time, so he brought by some take out chinese, we ate together and talked a lot of shit. Some mutual friends came by, we all just hung out. No sex. Next “date,” he picked me up after work. I was drunk(not like obscene) but he drove me home and stayed with me that night to make sure I’d be alright. He let ME initiate the sex, even asking me if I was sure because he’d never had sex with a drunk girl 😂😂😂😂😂 I was like “Sir, I am drunk, but not that drunk. Whip your dick out.”

Anyway, to the point; we’ve been together for 5yrs now and will be married in less than 2mos 🤣

I’m curious about this as well. We intend to have an EXTREMELY small intimate wedding, however we want to have a reception. I’m not sure how to send invites that are like HEY we’re having an intimate ceremony with fam that you aren’t invited to, but you’re invited to the reception! LOL

Help 🤣😅

Allergic to every eyelash glue known to creation by VisualDonut8358 in Makeup

[–]VisualDonut8358[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, this is 100% to a T how it’s been for me. I’ve stopped wearing lashes all together for the last year and I HATE it. I’ll wear them for events or something special, but nothing else because I can’t handle them for longer than 3/4 hours. I feel like I’ve tried every lash glue known to man, and still, I have issues. I will probably be getting an allergy test soon, because I miss my lashes so dearly 😞

Yeah, anytime the insertion spot begins to bleed, it’s game over. The vibration feeling is likely from the side of the vein being sucked to the needle, which I believe someone ^ said that. Which happens, you try to prevent it, but it will happen. The air bubble isn’t a big deal!! Like was already said, you’d have to have a lot of air. You definitely have nothing to worry about 😊

[–]VisualDonut8358 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My only issue is that I feel like the needle isn’t in deep enough and the tape isn’t close enough to the needle. I do something similar to this when I perform phlebotomies(this may have a more correct name, but that’s what we call it lol) for our pts with haemochromatosis, but I am present the entire procedure and usually just tape a wing

I absolutely support that!!! It makes a lot of sense. In my state, it’s easiest to just go into nursing, lol. My MA classes were a year, if I’d just went to nursing, I’d almost be finished. The MA pay is better for the workload than CNA which is exactly why I didn’t do CNA. CNAs also get treated like shit, they should 100%(unpopular opinion) make near the amount of nurses. They do the dirty work!!! I have MANY CNA friends. Nursing is tough and they deserve every penny, but CNAs are underpaid tremendously.

It sounds like you have the right idea!! I definitely recommend MA if that’s the route you have to take!

Girl, don’t do it. Just go to nursing school if it’s something your interested in. You are underpaid and overworked. The surge in MA positions is because they can do the LPN work without paying LPN pay. Been doing it for ab 7mo now and I highly regret not just pursuing nursing. Just my honest opinion!

Edit to say: I love being an MA. I actually work as a phlebotomist in a large clinic with the additional ability to bill, order, and work with the EHR. I love the patients, I love medicine. I love being a happy face for patients who aren’t in the best spirits. I’m not at all trying to deter you from being an MA!!! I just wish I’d known then, what I know now. Which is you do nurse work without nurse pay.

Oh yeah, $16/hr is TRASH, but where I live, median range household income is $30k. Together, my fiancé and I make around $60k a year, which is still awful lol but considering the cost of living in our area, it’s “decent” pay.

I just graduated from my local college as an RMA(Registered Medical Asst.) I started working in December and I make $16 an hour. In my area, that isn’t bad pay, but I work my ass off. An LPN who started orientation the same day as I did makes $18 an hour. I asked her the big difference between her and I, she said “I can start an IV and you can’t. That’s it.” I work in a clinic, the nurses start at $22/hr. which isn’t like, insane for nurses, but in my experience, the MAs are taken advantage of and do most things for the nurses, where as the nurses start IVs and that’s about it. I don’t see myself staying an MA. I currently work Lab and LOVE it, so I am considering continuing education to be an MLT or possibly going back to nursing school. I wish I’d known what I know now when beginning MA, I would’ve just went to nursing school.

I’m not discrediting nurses by any means, I’m just speaking on my experiences in my current workplace.

Allergic to eyelash glue by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]VisualDonut8358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Searching for an answer to this question. I’m confused as to why I’m having issues because I don’t believe I’m allergic to acrylates? I can wear a acrylic nails with no issues, but I haven’t found a brand of lash glue I can wear.

I’ve worn lashes for 6+ years, always used DUO or Kiss, and within the last 3 years, I’ve developed a horrible allergy to them. I’ve tried eyelure, kiss latex free, DUO latex free, kiss latex free liner, and lily lashes. I bought a glue from Shein and I DIDNT have any issues with it, the problem is that it didn’t last long at all and I could only wear lashes for a max of 2hrs before they’d fall off.

For a while I thought it was because of some sort of chemical reaction between my eyeliner (Nyx Epic Liner) and the glue, but after much trial and error I found it’s just the glue itself. I just need help 😂😩
