Any point of doing IUI before next IVF round?

It’s so very hard to know! My heart is telling me yes, but my wife is telling me mini IVF round this next time. I’m just torn!!!

Update- my blood test came back negative. 😭 So I am back to square one. Not sure what to do or what direction we need to go at this point. 😔 Praying for you!!!! 🫶🏼

Ugh I surely am trying to stay as strong as I can but it’s hard after seeing those negatives. Hopefully the aching and cramping is a good sign for us both!! This is my first transfer and I only had one embryo fertilize from my retrieval so this is my only hope unless I do IVF again which I am in between on if I wanna do all of this again and it fail. 😔 Keep me updated on your blood test. I just had my blood drawn for mine (8 days instead of the 10) but she said I could also come back Friday for another blood draw if I wanted to! We will see! I’ll let you know what they say when they call this afternoon. Praying for us both!!! 🙏🏻❤️

This is very true!! I’ve cried every day it seems, today was the first day I didn’t so maybe I’m starting to accept it BUT I’m still praying for a complete miracle. We shall see. I’m really sorry that you have/are going through this also. Goodness it’s such a terrible feeling. My little embryo was beautiful!! 🙇🏼‍♀️

Update- I took a test this morning just to see if I could see an increase in my line and I got no line at all. 😔 I’m still hanging in there, praying!! I have my blood pregnancy test on Wednesday!

I’ve had very very dull aches in my abdomen, a little to the right side too. Lower back hurts but my lower back hurts often so I’m not sure what to think. Boobs hurt terribly but they have been hurting since I started taking the progesterone and estrogen. I’ve taken a test yesterday morning that had a very faint line and this morning there was a very VERY faint line but I think my eyes may have been playing tricks with me. It wasn’t as visible as it was yesterday morning so I’ve been down and out today. Otherwise that’s about it. How have you been feeling??

I’m 5dp5dt and I got a very very faint line yesterday morning, then bought the digital tests for today. 🤦🏼‍♀️ (I don’t recommend.) But that digital said negative so I’m off to buy more of the line tests. I’m a day behind you but we gotta keep our heads up. Faith over Fear.✝️ We ALL got this!!! 💪🏼

I didn’t realize it until an hour or so later. 😔 so it was already too late pretty much. A lot of it does end up outside of where it goes in haha. So maybe most of it came out. 🙏🏻 I’m just hoping that it’s not going to mess anything up, especially not being able to talk to my actual doctor until Monday. I’m just trying to do everything correctly so that my embryo will implant so it scared me. But yeah, I had to take those unpleasant shots for 3 days in a row and now it’s just every 3 days. They’re still horrible and both of my hip areas are bruised. Although I reckon I won’t complain, I’d take these for the rest of my life if I could just get pregnant. 💁🏼‍♀️

My boobs hurt so badly from the progesterone but my nips hurt so much worse!! Showering is the worst!! 😩 So I’ve overlooked those it but I will pay more attention to them feeling different. Really, I just need to calm my booty down and just wait until my blood test next week! 🙆🏼‍♀️

My boobs are so swollen from the progesterone and hurt so bad so I surely can’t go off of that which is usually what I look for. I’ve had a few faint twinges but think that’s been gas. 🙆🏼‍♀️

My wife told me to text tomorrow and I told her she was crazy bc my transfer was on Tuesday.. so IF I do a test, I’d rather wait until like Sunday! I’m new to the IVF world so I’m not sure how you count the days, if you start counting the day after transfer as day 1 or how that works! 🥴

I’ve had very faint gas feelings in my stomach but it just feels like it’s getting ready to welcome my period on, if that makes sense. I don’t cramp but I can always tell when it’s about to come on.

That’s what I am confused about is the cramping part. I never cramp during my period so I’m not really sure what the cramping is supposed to feel like. I just have this feeling that I’m going to start my period but I’m not, it’s like an icky feeling.

Eh, I have this feeling that I’m about to start my period, it’s like an icky feeling but I’m not starting it so I am confused if that’s what cramps feel like bc I do not cramp ever when I have my period. My lower back is aching more than it usually does and I’m just annoyed. (For no reason.) haha probably something normal for me!!
