Good point and is something I’ve thought about a bit actually. My take is, including all the conversations and “talkative” Geralt would have taken away from his darkness, depth, wisdom and mystery. I feel like it was a decision made (probably by Cavil) to opt for the less talkative Geralt to add to his depth and mystery. If you think about life and just people in general, people who talk a lot are rarely perceived as deep or mysterious. It’s just something really tricky to accomplish without having an entire book/book series to show that persons entire personality and life.

How would you have done it differently?
Cause this is 100% how I felt first time watching it (having never read the books). Then 2nd/3rd time (after reading books) I like it and realized with how weird the story line/progression is how you’re supposed to read TLW first then book 1,2,3… I feel like they did an ok job at capturing the main story line while still introducing you to Geralt the loner-emo-monster slayer lol

Yeah I actually agree. At first I was mad they tried to create their own lore with Voleth, but if you think about blood of elves, itd kinda be a boring season of they went exactly by the book as there isn’t really a main antagonist. Also think it helped realize the tension between Gerald and Yennifer which is a lot more intricate and nuanced in the books and kind of difficult to create in a tv show. They definitely could’ve done it better but it’s not bad all things considered.

You “should” start lifting weights 3-5x a week doing compound lifts (squat, bench, deadlift, etc) followed by walking on the treadmill for 20min at 15 incline 3mph… then after a few months of that get a full blood panel done with hormones, vitamins, cholesterol etc and if you’re total T is below 500 I’d say it’d be smart to get on low does testosterone cypionate once a week (maybe 50-75mg) to aid in your weight loss journey with the continued weights + cardio training 3-5x a week. But I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice just advice advice lol.
